De la Bangkok International Book Fair 2009 am cumpărat:
- Thaksin. The Business of Politics in Thailand de Pasuk Phongpaichit şi Chris Baker (Thaksin este cauza recentului haos de pe străzile Bangkok-ului)
- The Ninja and Their Secret Fighting Art de Stephen K. Hayes (un autor cunoscut de pasionaţii artelor marţiale)
- History’s Fiction (Short Stories from the City of Hong Kong) de Xu Xi (de pe coperta IV: „Xu Xi ranks as one of Hong Kong’s foremost contemporary English language novelists”)
- A Drop of Glass and Other Stories de Sidaoru’ang (povestiri thailandeze)
- In Bagdad. A Reporter’s War de Paul McGeough (28 de zile în „tranşee” în Irak)
- Time for Celebration de Jun Feng (roman autobiografic despre fuga autorului din China şi stabilirea lui în Danemarca)
- Monturiol’s Dream. The Extraordinary Story of the Submarine Inventor Who Wanted to Save the World de Matthew Stewart (self-explanatory!)
- Hinduism de Ranchor Prime (în colecţia World Faiths)

Dintr-o piaţă de noapte din Chonburi, am cumpărat:
- In Dubious Battle de John Steinbeck (un roman a cărei acţiune se desfăşoară în California anilor ’30)
+ primele două volume (în thailandeză) din seria Cronicile Spiderwick.
